What is Nautica ?

Nautica is a 3-day business simulation challenge that provides a platform to test your business acumen against some of the best B-school students of the nation. The platform allows participants to formulate strategy implementation using key financial measures and market and customer insights. By seeing the consequences of their day-to-day decision-making in a simulation, participants develop their analytical mindset and accountability while learning how to increase total shareholder return of a company. Last year, 794 teams of 2-3 members each participated in this flagship event of Imperium ’23 from among the top b-schools in India. The total prize money of Rs. 50,000/- was the highest among all the event conducted during the fest. The event received more than 1 lakh views on Unstop.

The business simulation platform is developed in-house by MDI students. This web-based platform allowed the contestants to have an immersive engagement with the platform. The participants are asked to make business decision in various functions of business such as Production, HR, R&D, Logistics, Sales & Marketing and Finance. 

This flagship event of Imperium has increased in popularity among the students of B-school circuit because of its uniqueness and innovation. Management students across the country eagerly looking forward to this exciting online simulation every year.

No, there is no age limit to participate in this competition

 

  • Can I change my team members after registering for this competition?

You can change team composition until the registrations are open. You will not be able to update it once the first round gets live or the registrations are closed.

 

  • Where does the game is played?

The game is played on the MDI’s own business simulation platform. The login details and instructions will be shared with the participants by 8th Feb

 

  • What are important dates & deadlines?
